CELEBRATING ARTISTS IN CONVERSATION
ArtistSpeak* is founded and hosted by Kenna Burima, a Calgary-based musician, songwriter, educator, producer, and writer.
With nearly three decades of experience in Alberta’s arts community, Kenna’s work has consistently explored difficult and meaningful topics — including mental health, addiction, faith, misogyny, and social justice — through creative practice and community-centered engagement.
ArtistSpeak* grew from a desire to move beyond “stay in your lane” thinking, and instead honour the role artists can play in fostering empathy, dialogue, and connection.

Step into our space and experience the warmth and energy of a community that celebrates the creativity and talent of artists. With flexible seating options, you can host your special events in a unique setting surrounded by the artistry of our talented performers. Feel the vibrancy of our welcoming ambiance and connect with like-minded individuals.
